Images from documentary work for artists and organizations and personal work from my journals and collections.
Corniglia, Italy
Corniglia is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The little town clings to the cliffs high above the Ligurian Sea on Italy's Cinque Terre. The woman pictured kindly ignored me while I photographed her. Tourists seem to be an accepted occupational hazard for the town's citizens. This narrow street leads from the town center to the overlook above the sea. The black door across from the woman is a fermentation closet for wine grapes harvested from the town's terraces.
